It Was December And I Had Just Proposed To My Wife Alli And We Had Found A Small 800 Sq Ft. Condo To Move Into To Start Our Lives Together! I Was Working A Minimum Wage Job Loading Bags At The Airport, And She Was Looking For Work! It Was A Stressful Time To Say The Least! The Condo We Found Might Have Been Small But A Perfect Place For Us To Start The Journey, Everything Seemed Perfect… Minus The Paint Job! The Walls Were A A Shade Of Orange And By The Looks Of It Hadn’t Been Painted In Way Too Long. The Cabinets Were Scratched Up And Were Stained A Color My Wife Didn’t Like At All. After Moving All Of Our Belongings And Furniture Into The House It Was Obvious What Our First Project Would Be. PAINTING! A Week Before Moving In, Me And My Wife Bought Grey Paint For The Walls, And White For The Doors And Trim, A Sleeve Of Tape, And Plastic To Prep The House.
We Spent HOURS Prepping The House And Making Sure That Everything Was Covered And All The Edges Were Taped Perfectly. It Was No Job For Just Us Two To Tackle So We Asked Friends And Family To Help Us Paint The House. It Was Time Consuming And Tedious But When We Finished It Was A Brand New House! Not Only Did It Look Different It Had A Totally New Feel To It! We Talked For Days About How Much Of A Difference Something As Simple As Paint Can Make In A House! Almost Immediately After Finishing And Admiring The Work We Had Done, We Had The Idea To Help Other People With All The Painting Projects That Might Be A Little Too Big To Tackle On One’s Own. That Same Week I Searched For The Best Painters. I Asked Friends, Put Up Ads, Talk To Painters I Passed By Working On Other People’s Houses And Eventually I Found The Perfect Crew!
